I'm Garrett (he/him). It's nice to meet you!

I'm studying Communications Design @ Carnegie Mellon, with an additional major in Human-Computer Interaction (a fancy way of saying UX research + design). I recently interned @ Wide Eye Creative, and I'm currently co-creative directing Lunar Gala's 30th Anniversary show.

I do my best work surrounded by creative, enthusiastic people. I love design because it allows me to share not only the stories, but also the emotions that make us human. I'm drawn to the problem-solving innate in brand design, the form of typography, and the motion I see in everything around me.

If I'm not designing, I love baking (shoutout Cloudy Kitchen's brown butter chocolate chip cookies), reading (currently, “Steal Like an Artist” by Austin Kleon), and exploring with my camera (most recently, La Gourmandine in Pittsburgh).
